Day 1- Reaching New Jalpaiguri Junction Railway Station or IXB Airport and Heading Towards Darjeeling
Your amazing tour to Darjeeling will start on your arrival at the New Jalpaiguri Junction Railway Station or IXB Airport. Once you will reach here from your home destinations, our executive will be there to pick you up and escort towards Darjeeling which is around 98 km away from here. The majestic hills and impressive en-route view will make the journey one-of-its-own kind experience.
Hurry-up with the hotel check-out formalities and give yourself little rest by spending some leisure time in your comfy hotel room. Spend the evening by exploring the local wonders. Relish over local dinner and enjoy overnight stay in the hotel room.
Day 2 - Day Spent at Local Darjeeling Sightseeing
Darjeeling, known as Queen of the Himalayas, has a lot to offer to its visitors. So, on day two, we would suggest you hurry up with mundane morning errands, enjoy a filling breakfast and leave to explore its hidden treasures. Places like Tiger Hills, Batasia Loop, Darjeeling Ropeway, Rock Garden, Singalila National Park, Peace Pagoda, and Padmaja Naidu Zoo are some of the key attractions that lure the tourists from all across the world. We will visit all these places as per your convenience.
After such a long and exciting day, it’s time to return to the hotel, enjoy a sumptuous meal, and retire to bed.
Day 3 - Reaching Gangtok and Day Spent in Local Sightseeing
On day 3 of our tour to Sikkim, we will reach Gangtok from Darjeeling. Reaching here will take around 4 hours so it’s wise to have early morning breakfast and hit the road as soon as possible.
After reaching here, make your move towards the pre-booked hotel room and relax for a while. In the evening, we will visit some of the key attractions of Gangtok like Rumtek Monastery, Ganesh Tok, Flower Exhibition Centre, and Himalayan Zoological Park. Return to the hotel to relish over local cuisines in the dinner and continue your overnight stay.
Day 4 - A Day’s Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
It’s your first morning in the Gangtok. So, welcome it with open arms, a cup of tea, and a succulent breakfast. This will make you feel energized for the rest of the day. Today, we will explore the untamed nature at Tsomgo Lake. Situated amid mountains, this lake is the epitome of natural beauty. After spending some quality time in the lap of nature at Tsomo lake, we will head towards Baba Mandir. Baba Mandir, which is our second destination of the day, can be reached through Nathula Pass and Tsomgo Lake trek. Return to the hotel and continue your overnight stay post-dinner.
Day 5 - A New Day, a New Destination- Lachung
On day 5, we will hit the road to reach another amazing destination i.e. Lachung. This rustic village is situated on the Indo-Tibetan border and leaves you in awe with its unspoiled beauty. It is home for many mesmerizing waterfalls, pine forests, and hot springs. Reaching here from Gangtok will take around 5 hours. So, we would suggest you hurry up with the morning errands and hotel check-out formalities and hit the road.
Upon reaching here, make your way to the cozy room pre-booked for you. Make yourself comfortable and take some rest. You can explore Chungthang, Thangu, and seven sisters’ waterfall in the evening. Continue your overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6 - A Day Spent at Lachung and Yumthang Valley Excursion
Its day 4 and it’s time to explore another new destination. Today, we will start our journey towards Yumthnag valley. Your tour will never be declared as fulfilling if you don’t visit Yumthnag Valley. An epitome of lush nature, this valley surely deserves your visit. Here, you can visit Rhododendron flower sanctuary and hot springs. Continue your overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7 - Reaching at Gangtok from Lachung
On day 7, we will start our return journey to Gangtok from Lachung which we take around 6 hours to get completed. So, have your morning breakfast and check-out from the hotel to start your journey.
Day 8- Departure from Gangtok
On day 8, your 7N+8D tour to Gangtok comes to an end. As the sun rises, relish over sumptuous breakfast and kick start your morning on a positive note. Finish your morning errands and check-out formalities and get ready to start your journey back home. We will drop out at New Jalpaiguri Junction Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport as per your departure schedule.
