Himachal is the ultimate destination for all the college goers that you cannot ignore. The mountains and the green valleys of Himachal attract people from all across the world. Over the years, Himachal has been famous for not only her natural beauty but because of the musical concerts and the events concerning overnight parties. So, if you are in your early 20s’ and want to fly free for a few days, Himachal Itinerary is the important thing that you should keep with you.

However, the vast area of Himachal can be covered from many points and through many ways. You can directly go to Manali or you can enroute Manali through Shimla and Kulu. Here, we are going to dictate the second kind of tour sketch which includes a 6 nights 7 days package. Let us have a look.

Itinerary

Day 1: Enroute Shimla
Shimla is the queen of hills. And the trip to her kingdom starts from Delhi. After picking up from Delhi Station or Airport as people might prefer, we would be heading towards Shimla straight without any detour. It is about 342 kilometres drive which will take about 7 hours to reach Shimla by road. As this drive would take up all the morning, you would be free to explore Shimla for the rest of the evening. Shimla has lots of places to visit. Mall Road, Shimla Church, Lakker are some of the places of Shimla that you should not miss at all. Day 1 would end with the overnight stay at the designated hotel in Shimla.
Day 2: Shimla-Kufri-Shimla; complete the cycle
The trip to Shimla does not end in day 1 only. Rather it takes a minimum of 3 days to complete Shimla and its adjacent places. Thus, for the second day, we would be heading towards Kufri. After the complimentary breakfast, you have to spend you whole day in the car as Kufri is about 45 to 1 hour drive away from Shimla.

Kufri is an amazing place of lush greeneries that is situated 2,500 metre above the sea level. The natural beauty of this place is absolutely astounding. Enroute Kufri, we would be visiting many other places as well such as the Indira Gandhi Tourist Park, Chini Bunglow and Mini Zoo. In short, you whole day would be occupied roaming from one place to another. We would be back to hotel by night and day 2 will end in Shimla as well.
Day 3: Shimla-Kullu-Manali; The famous Himachal Chain
Shimla, Kullu and Manali – when anyone talks about Himachal, these three words are often uttered together. In this itinerary, we will not be disappointing you by not including this trio. After the complimentary breakfast, we will bid goodbye to Shimla and head towards the magical land of Manali which is situated at an altitude of 2,000 metre above the sea level. However, this will not be a boring road trip. In the way, we would stop for the amazing Kully valley. We will experience its beauty and embrace the serenity for about 2 hours and head towards Pandoh Lake and Hanogi Mata Temple.

After a drive of almost 6 hours, we would reach Manali just by the evening, which would let us visit the famous mall road of Manali at night. Also, you will be free to roam around the town of Manali for the evening as well. Day 3 would end with an overnight stay in a Manali Hotel.
Day 4: Manali Sight-seeing, Snow Point
Day 4 of this Himachal Itinerary would start with the beautiful sight-seeing of Manali. After the breakfast, we would head towards Kothi Gorge, which is almost 12 kilometres drive away from Manali.

Kothi Gorge is a little village situated at the outskirt of Manali. The lush greeneries of this village will surely spellbind you. Mostly, it is a famous picnic spot in Manali.

After that, we would head towards Rohtang Pass or snow point which is about 25 kilometres away from Manali and in the way; we would stop at Marhi for the essential lunch time. After getting an amazing lunch in the lap of Himalayan, we would spend the rest of the day in Rohtang pass which is one of the snow-covered places of Manali whose snow never melts. After spending an hour, we would head towards the city again and spend the 4th day in Manali.
Day 5: Manali Only
No Himachal Itinerary cannot ever be completed without the mandatory Manali sight-seeing. After breakfast, we would be heading towards Hidimba temple, just a few kilometres walk away from Manali town. The Japanese styled architecture of this place will surely amaze you.

After spending an hour or two in this place, we would visit other famous sight-seeing places of Manali such as the Tibetan Monastery and the Club House to stuff our tummies with amazing food of Manali.

After that you can spend the afternoon at Van Vihar of Manali or you can relax at the mall road as well. Being the last of Manali and the last travelling day of this itinerary, you are free to explore Manali town till the night, Day 5 would be spent in Manali as well.
Day 6: Back to home; Manali to Delhi
On the 6th day, we would be heading towards home again, After the complimentary breakfast, we would bid goodbye to Manali and cross this green valley in our way to Delhi, From Manali, it approximately takes about 4 hours to reach Delhi. We would be dropping you at Delhi or Chandigarh Railway Station from where you will take the train to your home city.

This Himachal Itinerary is an ideal planned sketch for those who do not want to get distracted from the beauty of Himachal. It is less hectic and it gives you lots of time to explore the mountains and enjoy the starry nights. The drive may tire you, but with sufficient rest at the hotels, you will not be feeling exhausted at all. Happy Travelling!
