Day 1 - Arrive at Kochi and Heading to Munnar
The 8N-9D tour to Kerala starts with your arrival at Kochi. We will pick you up at the airport/railway station and head towards Munnar which is around 125 km away from Kochi. We would be covering the distance in a private car. Enjoy the en-route view.
We will reach Munnar by the evening and it’s time to give your ached back some relaxation. So, hurry-up with hotel check-out formalities and spend some leisure time at Munnar hotel.
Day 2 - The Magnificent Munnar
Pristine nature, lush-green grassland, endless tea plantation, and friendly locals are what you get to see at Munnar. The place is divine in every sense and has a very healing effect on your soul. Day 2, we would be exploring its charm.
Kick start your day with a filling breakfast at the hotel and hit the road y 10:00 AM. Our first stop will be Atukkad waterfall. Situated amid remote yet ravishing woods, this waterfall is the epitome of nature’s beauty. By the day end, we will explore places like Echo Point, Pothamedu View Point, Photo Point, Lock Heart Gap, and Chokramudi Peak.
You will dead-tired by the end of the day and need some relaxation. So, return to the hotel, have your meal, and sleep well in your comfy hotel room.
Day 3 - The Exploring of Thekkady
Thekkady, the location of Periyar National Park is the place where you will get to see nature’s beauty in abundance. The place will amaze you will its diversity and purity. One of the major tourist destination o Kerala, Thekkady is around 91 km away from Munnar. As it will take around 3 hours to cover the distance, we will start early in the morning after evening breakfast at the hotel.
The en-route journey will give you a mesmerizing view. Upon reaching Thekkady, check-in the hotel and take some rest. You can go out in the evening and explore the nature around you. You can visit places like Thekkady Lake, Green Park Ayurvedic & Spices Plantation, and Chellarkovil Viewpoint. Return to the hotel for dinner and continue your overnight stay.
Day 4 - Thekkady Local Sightseeing and Tour to the National Park.
Its day 4 of the trip and its time to explore the wilderness of Kerala at Periyar National Park. Spread over an area of 300 square miles, this national park has everything that you may ask for an adventurous holiday. We will leave early from the hotel to the national park once you are done with the morning breakfast. After reaching here, don’t forget to enjoy the elephant safari at an additional cost. You can also visit Mangala Devi Temple which is inside the park only. Explore the rich flora and fauna as per your convenience and return to the hotel as the sun sets. Enjoy our dinner and retire to bed.
Day 5 - Thekkady to Alleppey
Its day 5 of your Kerala tour and its time to explore another amazing destination- Alappuzha or Alleppey. The small rustic town of Kerala epitomizes nature’s beauty in every sense. The place is around 137 KM away from Thekkady and we would be covering the distance in private car. As it will take around 3 ½ hours to reach there, we would suggest you to hurry up with the hotel check-out formalities once you are done with breakfast.
Enjoy the en-route views and weather. Upon reaching Alappuzha or Alleppey, hurry with the hotel check-in process and take some rest. In the evening, we will explore the beauty of Alappuzha or Alleppey in full swing. You can visit places like Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, Vembanad Lake, and Alappuzha beach. While you are here, you should not miss a backwater tour in a houseboat. This you can avail at additional cost but the view is worth it. Return to the hotel and retire to bed post-dinner.
Day 6 - Alleppey to Kovalam
On day 6, we will bid adieu Alleppey and hit the road to reach another rustic location of Kerala- Kovalam which is around 4 hours away from Alleppey. One of the most breathtaking places in India, Kovalam is what you should visit for a dream holiday. The place has unmatched beauty which we will explore after you reach here from Alleppey.
Finish up the check-in formalities and get soaked in its bliss for some time. In the evening, explore nearby by Hawah beach and lighthouse. Return back to the hotel and continue your overnight stay.
Day 7 - Another Day at Kovalam
Welcome the morning of day 7 in Kovalam with open arms. The sea coast has a lot to offer and we will visit some of the key destinations like Karamana River, Samudra Beach, Vellayani Lake, Halcyon Castle, Valiyathura Pier, Neyyar Dam, and Vizhinjam Rock Cut Cave Temple after you finish your morning chores. It must a long and tiring day and you need some relaxation. So, return to the hotel, have a sumptuous meal, and enjoy a tight sleep.
Day 8- Kovalam to Kanyakumari- A Trip to Remember
Before the trip ends, we will visit the end of India- Kanyakumari on day 8. Guarded by the sea, this place is at 2 hours drive away from Kovalam. The place has a lot to offer you. So, you need to hurry up with morning errands and hit the road by 9:00 AM.
Places like Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Thiruvalluvar statue, Kumari Amman Temple, Kanyakumari beach, Courtallam Falls, and Gandhi Mandapam are worth visiting while you are here. You can visit these places as per your convenience. We will return back to Kovalam and continue overnight stay there.
Day 9 - Trip Ends Today
Its day 9 your Kerala 8N-9D tours and it’s time to bid adieu the place which is incredible in every sense. Soak-in for some time in the morning bliss of the Kerela and have a filling breakfast at the hotel. Pack your bags and check-out from the hotel. We will drop you to Kochi airport/ railway station as per your departure schedule.
