Here is our itinerary for this wonderful place that will help you explore the real beauty of this place.

Itinerary

Day 01: Pathankot/Chandigarh – Dalhousie
Your journey to this wonderful place will start from Pathankot/Chandigarh. We will pick you up from the Chandigarh airport or railway station. After the pick-up, we will head towards your hotel room where you can shed off the travel tiredness and freshen up for a wonderful journey ahead. Depending upon your arrival time, you can also enjoy the sumptuous local Himachali lunch or breakfast at the hotel.

During the evening, we will take you the local sightseeing to the nearby places. The hip and happening Mall Road will fill you with fervent and enthusiasm for the future journey.

Post that, we will commence our wonderful road trip to Dalhousie. The road that leads you to Dalhousie offers you some magnificent views on-the-house.
Day 02: Dalhousie
On day two of our amazing Himachal Pradesh trip, we will explore the untamed beauty of Dalhousie. Get yourself ready for local sightseeing after a lip-smacking breakfast in your hotel. As you are in the tea-capital of North India, we would suggest you to have a sip of Kangra Tea in your breakfast for sure.

Dalhousie is a true treat to your eyes. The colonial era buildings and snow-covered hills are totally marvelous. We will spend the day in local sightseeing. Explore the colonial charm in British era buildings like St. John’s Church and Roman Catholic Church of England of Dalhousie.

We will continue our travel on the scenic roads of Dalhousie 24 km more and will explore the “Mini Switzerland of India” i.e. Khajjar. It is another beautiful hill station of Himachal Pradesh. Situated in Chamba district, the grassy meadow of Khajjar is truly mesmerizing.

By the time you are done admiring the pristine beauty of Khajjar, it will be the end of the day. Enjoy the dinner at your hotel and spend the night.
Day 03: Dalhousie – Dharamshala
We will begin our day three journey with breakfast in the hotel. After the checkout the formalities, we will gear up for the local sightseeing of hidden gem of Dharamshala. Places like Satdhara, Bara Pathar, and Panchpula will be some of our travel destinations.

Satdhara waterfall is a beautiful spring that is surrounded by pine and Deodar trees. If you are in search of ultimate peace and tranquility then Satdhara waterfall is the right place for you. Apart from providing you the magnificent view, the waterfall also offers you great medicinal value as its water contains Mica.

Bara Pather is another famous tourist destination in Chamba Valley. This ancient temple is situated only 4 km away from Dalhousie and is a great place to pay homage to almighty and enjoy a short trek.

Our next stop would be Panchpula. A calm and tranquil picnic spot, Panchpula is one of the most popular weekend gateways from Dalhousie. The place is surrounded by various streams and leaves you fresh with its cool breeze.

After all the exploring is done, we will head towards Dharamshala. We will check in the hotel and refresh ourselves for another amazing day.
Day 04: Dharamshala
Our next destination would be Dharamshala. Start your day with hot and sumptuous Thukpa in your breakfast at the hotel. This Tibetan noodle is a perfect way to satiate your early morning hunger. You can have its veg and non-veg versions.

Known for its ultimate peaceful environment, Dharamshala is a perfect destination to run away from cities hustle-bustle. We will start our fourth day with local sightseeing of some wonderful vicinities of Dharamshala.

Dharamshala Dal Lake is our first stop. The lake is situated at medium altitude and is surrounded by Deodar trees.

Our next sightseeing place is Naddi Village. Home of Dalia Lama, Naddi Village is adobe of beauty as It is situated near Dhauladhar Snow Range. If you want to unwind yourself and get some peace of mind then no place is better than Naddi Village.

Bhagsunag Waterfall will be our last destination to explore in Dharamshala. Nearby the waterfall, there is Bhagsunag temple as well which is dedicated to Lord Shiva.

If you are visiting during monsoon then the view of Bhagsunag waterfall would be mesmerizing as it turns into a deep 30 feet cascade around this season time.

End your day four trip with a sumptuous Himachali dish in dinner at the hotel. Post dinner, sip on hot green tea to feel refreshed in the morning.
Day 05: Dharamshala – Amritsar
Day five is the start of our retune journey. We know you don’t want to end this trip. That is why we have kept the end special as well. On day fifth, we will check out from the Dharamshala hotel and head towards the city of Golden Temple, Amritsar. After four hours long drive, we will reach Amritsar.

Before we start exploring Amritsar, hotel check-in and refreshment is much needed. Once we are done all this, it’s time to explore the city. We will visit Golden Temple and Jaliawala Bagh in till afternoon.

As the sun sets, it’s time to witness the amazing patriotism at Wagha Border. The beating retreat ceremony is a must watch for every visitor.

If the enthusiasm of Indian soldiers of Wagah Border fills you with immense gusto then you can explore the local market of Amritsar by your own. Don’t forget to taste Amritsari Chole Kulche and Lassi at any local shop.

Return back to the hotel for dinner and get a tight sleep.
Day 06: Amritsar
As all good things come to an end, it’s time to bid adieu to this amazing trip. Post breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and head towards the railway station/airport as per your departure schedule.
