Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Manali
Early morning pick up from Chandigarh Railway Station or Delhi Airport followed by a long 10 or 12 hours bus journey to cover 536 kilometres to enter the magical land of Manali. Checking into the hotel (name included) at Manali would be the first job to be done. Next, light dinner according to the low temperature would be provided along with a welcome lecture to make all the members of the trip comfortable.
Day 2: Site-seeing at Manali
The next two days would be reserved for you to absorb the beauty of Manali. For the ‘day 1’ in Manali, we would be visiting the most famous or the most visited tourist spots of Manali. The first stop would be ‘Kothi Gorge’, 12 kilometres away from Manali.

A little village in the midst of Manali’s lush greenery, Kothi Gorge is one of the most famous picnic spots in Manali. You would be provided with an hour to explore the site.

Another 13 kilometres away from Kothi Gorge, Gulaba is one of the most versatile villages of Manali. The vibrant life surrounded by mountains, Gulaba at least demands a 2 hours stay while you are in Manali. Also, Gulaba has many good hotels and restaurants to accompany you perfectly.

After Gulaba, it is time to have a delicious plate of lunch. Instead of eating out of cans, we would be eating at Marhi, a shanty town of roadside restaurants with an amazing view down the road ahead. It is another 25 kilometres from Gulaba to Rohtang Pass; thus, Marhi is the must-have ‘stop’ in the middle.

Once the lunch is over, we would be heading for Rohtang pass or mostly called as the ‘snow point’ for having snow all year around. Situated at almost 13,000 ft above the sea, we would spend an hour or less in here. With the ‘snow point’, our first day in Manali ends here. We would be back to the hotel before the night descends and prepare for the 2nd day.
Day 3: Site-seeing in Manali
As the first day in Manali almost covered all the nature’s beauty, the second day would be leaving us with the man-made creations in the town. After having a delicious bowl of Maggie, we would be heading for the Hidimba Temple. The structure of this temple resembles Japanese architecture and an hour would suffice to absorb the serenity of this place.

After that, we would have an amazing Tibetan Monastery in our tour agenda which would be followed by lunch at the famous Club House of Manali.

When the lunch period would be over, our next destination would be towards Vashisht Village, which is almost 20 kilometres away from the town. Van Vihar is nearby, a stellar park with serene nature and a beautiful lake in the middle. The 2nd day in Manali would end with relaxing at the mall road after which we will head back to our hotel and call it a day.
Day 4: Road trip to Dharmashala
Dharmashala is about 236.5 kilometres away from Manali; thus on the 4th day of our trip, we would be leaving Manali in the early morning. However, the 6 long hours journey would not be wasted in the car only, rather we would be visiting many places en-route.

At first, Kullu Valley, which is just 1 hour away from Manali. After exploring the beauty of this serene valley, Pandoh Dam and Hanogi Mata temple en-route. We would be spending the 4th day of the trip in Dharmashala only.
Day 5: Dharamshala site-seeing and en-route Dalhousie
The 5th day of this trip will begin with a little site-seeing jolt in Dharamshala. Starting with Mecleodganj and spending an hour or two there, we would be heading to Dal Lake and Naddi Village, the hub of lash greeneries and miracles of nature. Naddi village is situated at an altitude of 2,000 ft above the sea. Ending Dharamshala with Bhagsunag Temple and waterfall, we would be heading to Dalhousie.

130 kilometres and 4 hours drive to Dalhousie from Dharamshala do not have much of a site-seeing. We would make it to Dalhousie by 7 or 8 pm of the night and rest for the night at the hotel.
Day 6: Cycle of site-seeing – Dalhousie and Khajjar
Day 6 of the Himachal trip would of the cycle of site-seeing. We would be leaving the hotel after having a hot breakfast and head to Khajjar, the mini Switzerland of India. In between, we would be spending some intimate time with nature at Satdhara, Panjpulla and Kala Tope. The 6th and the last night of the Himachal trip would be spent in Dalhousie only.
Day 7: The end of Himachal Tour – Dalhousie to Amritsar
For the 7th and the last day of the trip, we would visit Amritsar from Dalhousie, which is a 4 hours drive. Thus, we would be leaving Dalhousie early morning and reach Amritsar by 10 o’clock or 11 o’clock to visit Golden Temple, Jallianwalabagh and Wagah border. The whole Amritsar site-seeing would be over by the afternoon and we would drop you at the Railway station followed by a goodbye dinner.
