Day 1 - The Divine Darjeeling
Our five day long trip will start from Darjeeling. Once you will reach here from your respective source destination at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand or Bagdogra Airport, our guest executives will be right there to give you a grand welcome and receive you. After the warm welcome, we will continue our journey to Darjeeling that is around four-hour panoramic drive from Jalpaiguri.
After the road journey, we will reach to this mesmerizing city by afternoon. Give yourself a hot shower to freshen up after the checkout. By evening, you can roam around some local places. Go to bed early as next day we will hit the road with the crack of dawn.
Day 2 - Pelling Transfer and Half Day Sightseeing
Our next destination on day second would be Pelling. It is a beautiful small hill town that is situated at an altitude of 6800 feet. If the weather allows us then we will witness the real beauty of snow-capped mountain Pandim, Kumbhakarna, Rathong, Khangchendzonga, Zopuno, Shimbho, Narsing, and Sinolchuetc. Other places to explore are Rimbi water Falls, Rimbi Rock Garden, Kechopalri Lake. Each place will give you a different visiting experience.
Kechopalri Lake has its own significance in Buddhism and is known for its placid clean water. If we still have some time in our hands then Kechopalri Monastery and Kanchenjunga water fall would be our next destinations.
Once you return to the hotel then hilltop helipad is a worth visiting place. Retire to the bed post dinner and regain your energy for next day excursion.
Day 3 – Pelling to Gangtok
Our next destination on the day third would be Gangtok . Gangtok is not only the capital but the largest town of Sikkim. It is situated at an altitude of 1750 m in the eastern Himalayan range. It became the capital of Sikkim in the mid-nineteenth century after an English conquest. Today, it is a developed town with religious educational institutions. It is a centre of Buddhist culture and learning. Surrounded by beautiful monasteries and orchids, Gangtok is the dream destination of every traveller.
It is the resting ground for people who want to explore the various tourist spots of Sikkim. Spring and summer are the popular tourist seasons. With an overnight stay in the hotel of Gangtok, you can enjoy the night view of Gangtok from your hotel.
Day 4th - The Gratifying Gangtok
Our four day is dedicated to exploring Gangtok. The calm and tranquil atmosphere of this place is totally gratifying for your soul and senses. After having breakfast at the hotel, we will start our four-hour drive to Gangtok. This capital city has is famous for monasteries, orchids, and high altitude lakes. After an enticing road journey, we will reach our destination. We will check-in to the hotel and get ready for a half day sightseeing.
On this day, we will visit destinations like Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Research Institute of Tibetology, Do DrulChorten (Stupa), EncheyMonastery, and White Hall. To have a different experience, don’t forget to see the Flower Show. The show will let to explore some unknown yet totally captivating varieties of flowers.
While you explore all these places, freshen up with some local delicacies like Momos, Thupka and Wonton. Return to the hotel for dinner and peaceful sleep.
Day 5th - Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
We will continue to explore Gangtok on day six as well. Take breakfast in the morning and fuel up yourself for a full-day excursion. Our first destination would be Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir. Tsomgo lake is a must visit place while you are in this part of the globe. Covered in snow during most of the time of year, this lake looks like a silver sheet. Many migrating birds like Brahmini Ducks have chosen the lake as their home.
Day 6 - Departure from Gangtok.
On day 6, your 5N+6D tour to Gangtok comes to an end. As the sun rises, relish over sumptuous breakfast and kick start your morning on a positive note. Finish your morning errands and check-out formalities and get ready to start your journey back home. We will drop out at New Jalpaiguri Junction Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport as per your departure schedule.
