Day 1 - Arrival at Cochin and its City Tour and Set Out for Munnar Journey
Kerala is a pictorial Indian State with the abundance of greenery, located in the Malabar Coast. It is a tropical state placed along the Arabian Sea shoreline known for its wonderful beaches, backwaters, the canal network, the natural beauty and the famous therapeutic ayurvedic body massage for rejuvenation and relaxation which is the specialty of Kerala; made Kerala a place of excellence. There are several marvelous sightseeing places in Kerala which attract thousands of tourists round the year and also the Honeymoon couples often choose Kerala as their Honeymoon destination.
On the arrival at Cochin Railway Station or Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and driven to the city tour of Cochin. Cochin is one of the major port city located in the Ernakulam district of Kerala. You can visit here the Fort Kochi a famous tourist place with few water bodies, but it is not any fort; The ancient Jewish synagogue is there for more than 400 years, a small exhibition held here to show the importance of Jews in Cochin; The Mattancherry Palace made by Portuguese people, also called the Dutch Palace; Jew Town where the Jews used to live; St. Fransis Church which is the first European Church in India made in 1503 and the popular Chinese fishing nets, where the fishing is still done in a traditional Chinese Process using cantilever; around five people pull the Chinese fish net through the pulley system catch the fish on the sea shore.
After finishing the Cochin tour, you will be travelled towards Munnar. At Munnar you will check in at the hotel and stay the night in there.
Day 2 - The Wonderful Munnar City Tour
On the second day morning after breakfast, go for a city tour of Munnar. Munnar is a township located in the mountain range of Western Ghat in Kerala. Visit the Eravikulam National Park, which is a home to Nilgiri tahr, a kind of mountain goat; Mattupetty Dam made in the mountain where many animals roam in the landscaped view; the shopping place town market; and the Old Munnar Town. After the tour, take rest and relax at hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel or resort at Munnar.
Day 3 - Destination Thekkady from Munnar
On the third day morning after breakfast, start for the next destination Thekkady. After reaching the destination, check into the hotel and after refreshment, go for the sightseeing. Visit Ramakkalmedu which is a hilltop with wonderful vista of nature; and the Kailasam which is a place to enjoy the adventure. There is a fantastic driving area through the coffee, cardamom, and pepper plantation, it’s a valley between two hills, a number of trekking options is there and it is also a good place for the bird watchers as variety range of migratory birds come. Stay overnight at the hotel or resort in Thekkary.
Day 4 - Tour of Thekkady or Periyar
On the fourth day after having an early breakfast, go for riding the viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake. Thekkady is located in the Idukki district on the Mountains of Western Ghats and Thekkary is the location of Kerala’s most tourist attracted place, the Periyar National Park and The wildlife sanctuary. It is a tiger and elephant reserve forest.
Apart from that there are a number of common and rare species of animals such as sambar deer, Indian bison, leopards etc and plenty of rare species birds. In the northern part of this park,there is beautiful Periyar Lake is ideal for boat riding and river rafting. There are also the spice plantations in the further north area of this National Park. There are also a few tribal villages which you can explore. Finishing the tour, come back to the hotel and take rest and relax. Stay overnight at the hotel in Thekkady.
Day 5 - Destination Alleppey from Thekkady
On the day fifth, in the morning after having breakfast go for the next destination Alleppey. Alappuzha or Alleppey is located on the Laccadive Sea in Kerala. Alleppey is known for the house boats on Kerala backwaters; and the calm canals and lagoons network. Also visit the Snake Boat, Historical Church and the Paddy Field of Kuttanadan Region, which is the only place where the rice is cultivated below the sea level. Alleppey is also a great place to enjoy the spectacular sunset. Stay overnight night at the hotel or resort of Alleppey.
Day 6 - Destination Kovlam from Alleppey
On the day six, in the morning after having breakfast proceed towards the gorgeous Kovlam from Alleppey. Reaching Kovlam, do check in at your hotel. Kovlam is a small breathtakingly pretty coastal city and very famous for its beautiful Kovlam Beach. Kovalam offers sightseeing, delicious Malabari cuisines, swimming and other water sports activities such as wind surfing, parasailing and water diving etc. You can visit beaches and enjoy the water sports activities this day. Spend the night here at Kovlam.
Day 7 - The Local Sightseeing of Kovalam
On the seventh day of your journey, after having breakfast go for the Kovlam sightseeing places. Visit the famous beaches here. The largest beach here the Lighthouse Beach, then the second highest is the Hawah Beach and another one is the Samudra Beach and all beaches are extremely gorgeous.
You can also spend the day at leisure. Kerala is very famous for the rejuvenating and refreshing Ayurvedic body massage which is helpful in various medicinal cures and this is very famous not only in India but also in outside India. There are severl options of this massage; you can also grab the facilities offered by the resort. Stay overnight at the hotel in Kovlam.
Day 8 - The Journey from Kovlam to Cochin
The final day is the time to go back to your place again. After having breakfast, check out hotel and the cab will drop you at Cochin railway station or Airport. From there onwards proceed to your respective destination cherishing the memory of this beautiful Kerala trip.
