Itinerary

Day 1Delhi to Haridwar Drive (230 km/7 hours)

Our chauffeur, in a clean and serviced cab, shall pick you up from Delhi Airport/Railway station and drive towards Haridwar, an important pilgrimage site for Hindus in the Northern India. Haridwar is the city where River Ganga exits the Himalayan foothills. After almost 7 hours of smooth drive, you must hit the holy land of Haridwar. On arrival, you shall check into the hotel and freshen up. Post lunch; proceed for local sightseeing in Haridwar. Visit Mansa Devi temple (dedicated to Goddess Mansa, lord of Shakti who is said to have emerged from the mind of Lord Shiva) situated at the top of Bilwa Parvart on Shivalik Hills.

Next, visit the Chadi Devi Temple (dedicated to Godess Chandi) situated on Neel Parvat on Shivalik Hills. After paying your visit to the divine temples, join in the great Ganga Aarti in the evening on the banks of River Ganga at Har ki Pauri. Har Ki Pauri is the largest river ghat in all of India and is considered to be the most sacred Ganga ghat in the country. Har Ki Pauri is the most revered and one of the major landmarks in the holy city of Haridwar. Finally, return to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 2Haridwar to Mussoorie Drive via Rishikesh and Dehradun (90 km/3 hours)

Post breakfast; proceed towards Rishikesh, the Yoga capital of the world. Visit Ram jhoola, Laxman Jhoola across the banks of Ganga and shop in local markets before proceeding towards Dehradun, the capital city of the state of Uttarakhand. Dehradun. Visit Sahasradhara, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Dehradun. The place has awe inspiring beauty as a sulphur water spring flows down the valley. Next, call in on the Rober’s Cave, a river cave formation in the Himalayas frequented by tourists and locals alike. Now, proceed towards Mussourie, the queen of hills. On arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3Mussourie Local sightseeing

Post breakfast, advance for a full day local sightseeing in Mussourie. Begin with your visit to Kempty Falls and later proceed towards Dhanaulti. Dhanulti is a beatiful village, 33 km from Mussourie city center, near the mountain top shrine of Surkhanda Devi. Amidst the alpine forests of Deodar, oak and rhododendron, lies this picturesque small village. Another place of interest here is Eco-Park. This is a good picntic destination for families. In the evening, return to the hotel for the overnight stay.

Day 4Mussoorie to Jim Corbett Drive (300 km/9 hours)

Post breakfast, check out of the hotel in Mussourie and proceed towards the infamous Jim Corbett National park for a thrilling adventure amongst the wildlife.

The drive is almost 9 hours long and mostly through the hills and hence can be a bit tiring. The national park is named after James Corbett who was a legendary hunter initially but then became one of the most respected wildlife saving volunteers in the history. James (aka Jim) Corbett spent most of his life in the Kumaon region before Indian independence, left the countryv and shifted to Kenya post Indian independence and finally returned back to India to save local Kumaon residents from the attacks of wild tigers.

He was summoned to protect the locals but realized that tigers were suffering from a medical condition which leads them to attack humans. So he worked over the same and built this national park where he requested minimum human intervention was to be maintained. On arrival at Jim Corbett, check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, you can plan a visit to Garjia Temple and Corbett Fall. Finally, stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 5Jim Corbett Park | Jungle Safari

Wake up early morning, have qick snacks in your breakfast and proceed for Jeep safari at 6:30 AM in Jim Corbett National park and get ready to hop in the home of 600 species of birds, 500 species of flora and numerous varieties of wild animals including the Royal Bengal Tiger. Jim Corbett is the best protected and managed national park in India.

After a long excursion into the wild, the safari ends around 1:30 PM. Later, return to hotel for lunch. Further proceed to visit Corbett Wildlife Museum and Dhikala (offers uninterrupted panoramic view of the valley). Retreat to the resort and stay overnight at the hotel.
The Jim Corbett National Park is spread across remains open 365 days a year but the best time to visit is from mid of November to end of June. Since, in the monsoon, most of the roads get washed away due to rain. Jim Corbett is one of the favourite destinations of wildlife photographers and animal enthusiasts in the country.

The reserve is also home to one of the toughest fishes in the world named Masheer. Another reason for adventure lovers to visit the place is the trek over the Almora ranges where a puff of fresh air and breathtaking array of flowers welcome you at every step. You can also try elephant safari after you are done with your experience on the jeep.

Day 6Corbett to Kausani Drive (241 km/5 hours)

Post breakfast, advance towards Kasauni, located at 52 km from Almora, the town lies in the Bageshwar district of Uttarakhand. This town was called “The Switzerland of India” by Mahatma Gandhi due to the similarities in landscapes. After a lot of selfie-graphy and sightseeing, check in at the hotel and freshen up. Later visit Sun set view point and Gandhi ji Ashram. Return to hotel and stay overnight at Kasauni.

Day 7Kausani Local Sightseeing

Proceed for a full day local sightseeing in Kasauni. Visit Bageshwar and Baijnath areas for enjoying views from breathtaking valleys and striking flora. Later, return to hotel and have dinner. Stay overnight in hotel.

Day 8Kausani to Nainital Drive (132 km/3 hours)

Post breakfast; depart for the headquaters of the Kumaon district, Nainital. On arricval in Nainital, check in at the hotel and freshen up. Now, leave for a half day local sightseeing tour in Nainital. Stroll along the famous Naini Lake and call in on the excellent shops on the Mall Road. Pay your visit to Naina Devi temple at the end of the Naini Lake. Next, proceed to explore sightseeing locations including Naina Peak, Snow View, and Lands’ End. In the evening, return to hotel and relax. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 9Nainital Local sightseeing

Post breakfast, advance for a full day local sightseeing of Naintal and surrounding areas. Visit Bhimtal. Sattal Nakuchiatal and Tiffin Top. Later, drive back to the hotel for a leisurely evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10Nainital to Delhi Drive (320 km/9 hours)

In the morning, post breakfast, drive towards Delhi for the final departure. The drive is smooth and comfortable with good roads and delicious food en-route. Once arrived, take your drop at the Airport or Railway Station for onward jouney. The trip ends with happy memories.
