Overview
What is Siam Amazing Park?
Siam Amazing Park is a large theme park and water park in the Khan Na Yao district of east Bangkok. It opened in 1980 as Siam Park City and took its current name in 2019. One ticket covers the dry rides and the water park for the whole day, and a buffet lunch inside the park is part of the deal.
What can you do there?
The park is split into six themed worlds with more than 30 rides between them.
- Water World: slides, lazy pools and a giant wave pool of about 13,600 square metres that holds a Guinness World Record.
- Xtreme World: the big thrill rides, such as the Vortex suspended coaster, the Boomerang, the Giant Drop tower and the Ranger.
- Family World and Small World: gentle rides sized for younger children.
- Adventure World: themed rides for older kids and teens.
- Bangkok World: small copies of famous Thai landmarks near the entrance.
How long should you plan for?
Most visitors spend about five hours inside, so treat it as a full day out. The park usually opens from 10 am to 6 pm, and Water World tends to close around 5 pm. Plan the slides and the wave pool first if the water park is your main reason to go.
Who is it good for?
It works well for families. Children have their own ride zones, teens get the coasters, and grandparents can enjoy the wave pool, the shows and Bangkok World at an easy pace. The drive from central Bangkok takes around an hour, longer in heavy traffic.
What does the ticket cost?
The ticket with water park, all rides and buffet lunch is 2,250 Indian rupees per adult and 1,800 Indian rupees per child. Infants go free.
Good to know
- Swimwear is required on the slides and in the wave pool. Changing rooms are next to Water World.
- Lockers and towels are available inside the park for a fee.
- Vegetarian and Indian food choices on site are limited, so pack snacks if you have a strict diet.
- Light rain rarely stops the fun, but storms can pause some water rides for a while.
