Overview
What is Aquaria Phuket?
Aquaria Phuket is one of the largest aquariums in Thailand. It is on the lower floor of Central Phuket Floresta mall in Phuket Town. A visit takes one and a half to two and a half hours. It is open from 10:30 to 19:00, with last entry at 18:00.
What can you see at Aquaria Phuket?
The aquarium is laid out in themed zones with reef fish, jellyfish, rays and sharks. The highlight is a 40-metre walk-through underwater tunnel, where marine life swims right over your head.
Are there feeding shows?
Yes. Scheduled feeding shows run throughout the day, and they are included with your entry. Some extra experiences inside, such as stingray feeding, cost more and are paid for separately.
Is Aquaria Phuket good for a rainy day?
Yes. It is completely indoors and air-conditioned, which makes it a good choice for a rainy afternoon or a break from the beach. It is also easy going for small children and grandparents.
Where can you eat?
The mall around the aquarium has plenty of restaurants and food-court options, including vegetarian choices. Food and drinks are not part of the ticket.
