What is the King Power Mahanakhon SkyWalk?
The King Power Mahanakhon SkyWalk is Thailand’s highest observation deck. It sits at the top of the Mahanakhon tower at 114 Narathiwas Road in Silom, Bangkok, next to BTS Chong Nonsi station. A visit covers two viewing levels: an indoor, air-conditioned observatory on the 74th floor and an open-air rooftop deck on the 78th floor. Plan on two to three hours for the whole experience.
What can you see from the 74th and 78th floors?
A high-speed elevator carries you up to the 74th floor in less than a minute. The indoor observatory there gives 360-degree views over the Bangkok skyline and the Chao Phraya River, in full air-conditioning.
Higher up, the 78th-floor deck is open to the sky. Its best-known feature is the glass tray, a see-through floor where you stand 310 metres above the street below.
Is Mahanakhon SkyVerse included?
Yes. Every ticket includes Mahanakhon SkyVerse, a walk-through digital art experience on the 4th floor of the same building.
Which Mahanakhon SkyWalk tickets should you choose?
Daytime tickets are valid from 10:00 to 16:00 and are the best pick for clear, long-distance views. Sunset tickets run from 16:00 with last entry at 18:30, and they come with a digital photo. With a sunset ticket you see the city in daylight, at sunset and after the lights come on, all in one visit.
Some packages add a drink on the 74th floor or a food coupon worth 200 Thai baht.
What is the I-Tilt ride?
The I-Tilt is an optional thrill ride that leans you 65 degrees out over the city. It is only sold in the Tilt and Thrill packages, which are for adults with a minimum height of 120 centimetres.
Tips for your visit
- Wear closed-toe shoes, as they are required on the glass floor.
- The BTS Skytrain stop for the tower is Chong Nonsi.
- Hotel pickup and drop-off are not part of the ticket, but can be arranged on request.
